The plan was to punch a hole in the drywall and push the insulation into the wheelbarrow, thus minimizing the mess. Kristen was up in the attic for about two seconds before saying -- "Take it down! It's HOT up here!" After pulling down most of the ceiling we discovered this big nest:
Turned out it was a BumbleBee Hive! Kristen knocked a piece down and a few started buzzing around. One went after Kristen and got into her suit!!! She started running for the back door, screaming and slapping the entire way--AHHHH!!!!! I caught up to her and rip the suit apart (Hulk style). She survived with three stings to the neck. On Monday we called in an exterminator and he took them all out. Bees 1: Kristen ALL [entire hive].
